My top 5 Amazon finds

There is no greater excitement than the delivery of an Amazon Prime parcel. Yet, even with hundreds’ arriving every year (much to the dismay of my doorman) it’s easy to narrow down my Top Five beauty purchases.

A beauty aficionado by profession, I’m always on the lookout for the latest products I simply cannot live without. While many are one- time splurges, these five products make it on my ‘order-again’ list regularly.

*Drum roll, please*.

Olaplex Hair Perfector No 3 Repairing Treatment

This is not a shampoo or a mask, rather a bond repair great for damaged and over-bleached blonde hair. I started using this specific Olaplex product a year ago after I was sent a bottle in a press package and have been hooked ever since.

Wash and towel dry your hair, apply treatment and let it sit for a minimum of 10 minutes. Rinse, wash and condition as normal. $28. 00

Buxom Powerplump Lip Balm

This lip gloss/ balm not only moisturizes, it takes on the colour of your lip and enhances it while plumping your lips simultaneously. And while this sounds like a heck of a lot for a lip balm to do, trust me – it works! Perfect for a casual day look or an ‘ I wake up cute- like-this look’. An expensive lip balm compared to a Burt’s Bees Wax or Labello but oh so worth it. $18.00

Osmosis Skincare Purify Enzyme Cleanser, Citrus

This is literally the best face wash ever made. Having an acne prone and extremely sensitive skin, I am not able to use many face cleansers. Someone recommended this professional salon brand to me (and although I had never heard of it, ordered it anyway). Known for being recommended to people on chemotherapy, this very gentle face cleanser is my favourite beauty find of the year.

The special fruit ingredients serve as a natural exfoliate to gently lift impurities from the skin and smooth frayed, damaged edges without stripping the skin’s protective lipid barrier. Infused with essential oils of orange and pink grapefruit, this facial cleanser leaves your skin feeling revived and refreshed and is effective and recommended for all skin types. $37.00

Koh Gen Do Spa Cleansing Water Cloth, Unscented

Literally the most expensive face wipes on Amazon but TRUST ME THEY ARE AMAZING, OK??? It’s hard to imagine how a face wipe can be worth fifty dollars but they really are worth every cent. Not only is it super soft on your skin, it removes all makeup and leaves your skin feeling moisturized but not oily.

Born in Tokyo, these cleansing water cloths are soaked in mineral water and conditioning botanical extracts. Infused with six essential herbs including rosemary, sage and lavender to balance and nurture skin, these refreshing wipes also contain white birch sap to deeply replenish the complexion with brightening minerals. This is perfect for all skin types and is not tested on Animals and formulated without artificial colors. $50.00

Dr Dennis Gross alpha beta peel – extra strength formula

These peel pads are amazing for fine lines and wrinkles. Worth the price in every way these daily exfoliation pads created by the best in the skin business, Dr Dennis Gross, should be used under serum and moisturizer. The pads contain anti-aging boosters to give a stronger peel without irritation or recovery time. Eliminates fine lines, lessens pores and treats breakouts. It also noticeably improves dark spots and skin tone while unveiling a brighter, clarified and younger looking complexion. $85.31
