Fired up in Cape Town

There’s a hot new restaurant in Cape Town and it has us foodies in a frenzy.

Our favourite restaurant group, The Kove Collection (the same people that brought us the bungalow) is at it again with their latest hostspot, FireFish. This serene harbor-side space is the perfect place to enjoy Cape Town’s most cosmopolitan scene while sampling sensational seafood, fresh from the ocean and hot off the grill.

Premium seafood, fish and other cordon bleu dishes are grilled on a state of the art Josper charcoal grill (This is like the 5th avenue of grills, apparently) which burns only top quality charcoal and operates at an ultra-high temperature to allow the chefs to grill and roast while preserving and enhancing the most delicate flavours.

The modern menu has something for everyone from freshly shucked oysters to sushi, salads, vegetarian dishes, meat and chicken. Yip, we’re pretty much sold… now all that’s left is to hope we manage to get a table over December.
